Monday morning, one person had to be extricated from a car and hospitalized following a wreck off of a cliff. The Laurel County Sheriff’s office reports that around 10:30 a.m. the London-Laurel Rescue Squad responded to the scene to find the badly damaged vehicle.
They add that one victim was entrapped in the wrecked car, which was near 7200 Somerset Road.
Rescue units worked to extricate the patient, who was taken to a nearby hospital. Also responding were Laurel County Division of Public Safety, Emergency Management, Swiss Colony Fire Dept., Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County
