The Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury collision yesterday Wednesday, April 10, 2024 around 5:00 p.m. involving a pedestrian and a truck.
Investigators say Fonda Crowe, 60-years-old of Berea, was walking on HWY 1016 when she was struck by a truck driven by Marlin Laws also of Berea.
Ms. Crowe was transported by Madison County EMS to University of Kentucky Hospital with life threatening injuries. Mr. Laws was not injured in the collision.
The collision is being investigated by Deputy Blake Arnett and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Unit.
They were assisted on the scene by Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigations, Madison County EMS, Berea Fire Department and Richmond Police Department.
