Nearly 24 hours since Eunice Stone went missing, officials announced they found the woman safe and alert today.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department headed up the search for the 76 year old woman that was also the subject of a Golden Alert on Friday.
Ms. Stone was reported missing in her white Jeep Liberty around 1 p.m. Thursday after she left the Box Ankle Road area reportedly enroute to Richmond Meijer.
Around 2 p.m. Friday the Sheriff’s Department reported Eunice Stone was located by Madison County Sheriff’s Office Deputies following a crash on Four Mile Road.
They stated Ms. Stone was alert and conscious.
Ms. Stone was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment. The extent of any injuries or any other medical issues are unknown at this time..
