The Laurel County Sheriff Department arrested a 31 year old woman yesterday after a reported discovery of various treats laced in marijuana.
It occurred around 3 PM off KY 490 in a business parking lot approximately four miles north of London. Ashley Mullins of East Bernstadt was in her blue Dodge Dakota pickup that had an expired license plate when deputies conducted the investigation.
During the investigation, she reportedly had slurred speech and blood shot eyes and was determined to be under the influence. In addition, deputies also found Mullins in possession of three rice Krispy treats and three fudge candy bars allegedly laced with marijuana. Mullins claimed that she had baked marijuana into them.
She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence (first offense), possession of marijuana, no registration plates, and no registration receipt. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
