It’s an exciting time for Wolfe County Search and Rescue after they won a Land Rover. The vehicle will be used for the team to continue their life-saving missions.
Importantly, the vehicle can get to places their current truck can’t access in the rugged terrain at Red River Gorge. The Wolfe County team submitted a 3 minute video as part of the Defender Above and Beyond Service Awards, explaining how the vehicle would help continue their life-saving rescues in order to secure the SUV.
