The Wolfe County Animal Shelter is in need of help after suffering heavy damage due to flooding this weekend.
The shelter posted on their Facebook page early Sunday that water had breached the doors and was continuing to rise.
They posted an updated later on saying that they evacuated the dogs that were in danger and began to clean and sanitize the building from floodwater. The dogs were said to be safe.
A lot of people have volunteered to help foster the dogs or clean the building.
The shelter is currently asking for donations. You can either donate money or supplies on their GoFundme page here or transfer money to their PayPal account at wolfecountyanimalshelter@gmail.com
