The Winchester Police were alerted on Monday and Tuesday of this week of a male subject that had approached multiple young teen girls, in the early morning hours, while they were going to their bus stop in the area of College Street.
On Wednesday morning, the department says they saturated the area with plain clothes officers to attempt to locate the male. Officials say a parent alerted officers of the male walking in the same area. Sergeant Reed located and made contact with the male near one of the bus stops where children were waiting.
According to the press release, the male was wearing skin tight leather pants and shirt with his genitalia exposed. Sergeant Reed identified himself and told the man he was under arrest. The male reportedly resisted officers and was taken into custody after a very brief scuffle.
Elvis Jones, age 67, was provided with necessary medical attention and then lodged in the Clark County Detention Center on charges of Indecent Exposure, 1st degree, and Resisting Arrest.
