The new “FM Alert” receivers from Madison County EMA/CSEPP started arriving this week to Madison County residents, prompting a large volume of calls to the wrong people.
The Post Office reports they have received many calls already regarding the new receivers from residents with questions, they cannot answer. Madison County Emergency Management/CSEPP issued a request today to encourage the public to call the Madison County Emergency Operations Center at 859-624-4787 with any questions regarding the new AlertFM receivers.
The new receivers will notify residents of impending threatening weather events, as well as any emergency matters related to the chemical stockpile. Please help share this story and spread this information as all receivers are expected to be delivered to county residents by the end of March 2023.
