A tragic fatal accident occurred in Madison county over the weekend, this time between a vehicle and a motorcycle.
EKU foreign exchange fire student Mohannad Alrayes was in a motor vehicle collision on Four Mile Road in Richmond, and passed early Sunday morning. White hall volunteer fire department released that the student was a valued member of their department, and that even though he was an exchange student from Saudia Arabia, he treated Kentucky and the White Hall Department as his home.
Assistant Chief Ricky Greenwell said the department frequently works with students to get them real training to fight fires, and all the guys at White Hall became close to Alrayes.
Former Lieutenant Zak Evans, who just switched departments within the past week also gave Wbontv a statement, which Greenwell reads in the video.
