Primaries are tomorrow, May 21. There is a bit of a low voter turnout projected.
Secretary of State Allison Lundergran Grimes is predicting that about 12 percent of the eligible voters will go to the polls. However, for all those who are encouraged to go out and vote, WBONTV went and spoke to County Clerk Kenny Barger who told us of all the innovations going on in Madison County.
Barger states that Madison County is in the top five statewide as far as technology goes for electronic voting. However, he says to not worry as paper ballots are still offered, and used as backup.
