This Sunday morning, July 30th, 2023, around 10:15 am, Estill County Sheriff Chris Flynn observed a woman walking on Sandhill Church Road. He reports he recognized the female who had two known active warrants for her arrest.
As the sheriff made contact with her, she reportedly gave false identifying information before attempting to flee on foot. After a brief foot chase the female was taken into custody. Arrested was 23-year-old Ashley Isaacs of Irvine.
A search of Isaacs allegedly produced a large amount of suspected drugs that was found in her purse.
Isaacs was charged with multiple felony drug trafficking offenses as well several misdemeanor offenses.
