A head on collision has claimed the life of a Madison County man. The accident occurred around 5 pm Sunday, November 5, 2023.
The crash involved a Lowes box truck that was heading toward Richmond on Tates Creek and a pickup truck. The vehicles hit head on near the intersection of Tates Creek and Keeneland Drive.
Brandon Rice, age 40 of Waco was pronounced deceased on the scene by Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison.
The roadway was closed for several hours as emergency crews and reconstruction teams worked the scene to determine the cause of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
