Jason Rawlins of the Waco Volunteer Fire Department says that the smaller volunteer departments are in need of help now more than ever, as they do not have the support of EKU students at this time to keep the departments staffed.
He gave Marisa Hempel an inside look at a day in the life of a volunteer firefighter, and they took a trip to talk to the Chief of Union City VFD as well.
