On January 10th, two parents Albert and Patsy Christy of Winchester were sentenced to five years behind bars.
Both parents were allegedly convicted of reckless homicide in the death of their special needs son Logan.
Logan had Down Syndrome and passed away from malnutrition and pneumonia in 2017.
In court, the couple admitted to not taking Logan to the doctor for the past two years. They allegedly admitted to not giving him the proper nutrition either. Documentation from court stated that based on the autopsy, Logan did not have anything in his stomach when he passed.
