The identify of one of two people who lost their lives in a crash by Richmond Kroger earlier today has now been released.
Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison confirms to WBON-TV9, the driver of the motorcycle, 54 year old Tommy Oliver of Third Street in Richmond, was pronounced dead on scene just before noon today.
The accident happened on HWY 25, at the intersection by Kroger and Sonny’s BBQ. The accident involved the motorcycle and one other vehicle.
A female passenger with Oliver on the motorcycle was transported to UK Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
UPDATE- 8:15 pm – The female passenger has been identified as Cynthia Tyra of Richmond.
The crash remains under investigation.
WBON will release the passengers name after notification of next of kin.
