Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with U.S. Marshals, arrested two individuals on Monday afternoon on September 23, 2019.
The arrests occurred on Dezarn Road, approximately 6 miles east of London, after U.S. Marshals attempted a traffic stop by activating their emergency equipment on a Ford Mustang GT on KY-638, and the vehicle reportedly refused to stop. Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area and, along with U.S. Marshals, arrested two individuals after the Mustang wrecked, running off the roadway into a ditch on Dezarn Road.

According to the citation, the two occupants of the vehicle attempted to flee on foot, but were immediately captured. One of the individuals in the vehicle was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The other individual in the vehicle was reportedly wanted on a federal indictment warrant for trafficking in methamphetamine.
The two arrested individuals were identified as Ronnie Lee Bowling, age 63 of London, who was charged on a federal indictment warrant charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine. Also arrested was Donnie Howard, age 58 of London, who was charged with 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana.
