Berea police have arrested two women for the fire started in the Berea Walmart last week that caused nearly $70,000 in damages according to the store. The fire was reportedly put out with a fire extinguisher by another customer.
Last Monday around 11:30, Berea Police responded to the Walmart in Berea on Jill Drive. The fire in the clothing section caused the store to be filled with smoke and be evacuated.
Police have arrested Michelle Wilson age 50, and Alicia Stewart, age 45, in connection with that fire stemming from store video surveillance. Both have been charged with arson, third-degree and criminal mischief/first.
