A Madison County man has died as a result of a farm machinery accident this afternoon off Simpson Lane. 83-year-old Howard Bowden was discovered after family members became concerned when Bowden had not returned from bushhogging an area of the farm. According to reports, the tractor and implement slipped down the hill Mr. Bowden was mowing, ejecting, and fatally injuring Mr. Bowden.
Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison recorded the time of death to be around 3:30 this afternoon. WBON-TV and staff sends condolences to the family.
