While conducting a traffic stop on Camargo Road in Montgomery County yesterday, Deputy Wilson, Deputy Bartley, and Sgt. Garland, of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, located a large quantity of suspected cocaine as well as Psilocybin Mushrooms.
The suspect, 45-year-old Michael A. Hickey of Morehead, was found to be in possession of 27 grams of Cocaine. 40 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and 7 grams of marijuana. Also located were several articles of drug paraphernalia and $337.00 cash.
Hickey was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substances, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of a Substance (2nd Offense), as well as other misdemeanor offenses.
Hickey was lodged in the Montgomery County Jail.
