The Richmond police and fire departments are teaming up to sell box lunches to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. They are raising money for Jeff and Kandice Baisden and their two children. Jeff Baisden and his son both suffer from a rare genetic disorder known as hypophosphatasia.
The lunch consists of half a smoked chicken, two sides, a choice of bread and a drink for only ten dollars. To pre-order your lunch, go to HFHMCC.org. Lunches will be available for pick up from 11 a.m to 1 p.m at Station 1, 200 N Madison Ave. Walk ins are welcome but the remaining lunches are being given out on a first come first serve basis. The last day for the fundraiser is tomorrow.
