Three local ladies form “Together RKY” to fight addiction, homelessness in Madison County

By R. David Shew

Three ladies began dreaming of coming together about ten years ago, and Tuesday morning Together RKY hosted their first monthly breakfast at Chenault Vineyards. The three women are Becky Chenault, Donna Agee, and Lisa Foley.

These three and many others are working together to bring churches, nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and community leaders to fight addiction, drugs, human trafficking, and homelessness in Madison County.

Dwayne Abrahamson from Red House Baptist Church updated those in attendance about how Red House Baptist is serving Madison County. In addition, Daniel Kirstein talked about Enrich, its mission, and the workshops being held on Second Street currently. Daniel mentioned the restaurant should be open by the end of 2025 as well as a room for six residents.

God’s hand is at work through Togetherrky.org. The organization is working to be a one stop resource for Madison County.

The next monthly breakfast meeting will be held at Chenault Vineyards on December 17, 2024.
