The Weekend Looks Warm & Stormy

It’s warm and windy and very “un-January” like. We are on track to set a new high-temperature record for today and most likely tomorrow as well.

Highs today hang out in the upper 60s, overthrowing the previous record of 65 degrees. We will stay mostly cloudy with strong wind gusts throughout the day. Tonight, we will only drop down into the high 50s, which is 15 to 20 degrees warmer than the average high for today.

The rain will move in late tonight and soak the area for all of Saturday with the possibility of some strong storms. Sunday, we will drop down a little closer to average with highs in the low 50s. Next week, more seasonable temps start showing up with the chance for winter to return by the end of next week.
