If it hasn’t started raining where you are, it’s coming soon. The rain will become more widespread as we move through the evening, and it’s going to stick around.
Highs today will top out in the low 50s, which is several degrees above normal. Even the lows tonight will not drop down to what we would usually see as a high for the first part of January.
The coolest point we will get to tonight will be in the upper 40s. Tomorrow, the rain continues and so do the above-average temps. Highs stay right around 60 degrees with gusty wind throughout the day.
Rain sticks around for the first part of the weekend, with a few flurries possible Saturday morning. The forecast for next week is looking more seasonable with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.
