The Madison County Farmers Market held its opening day at the Eastern Kentucky University’s Alumni Coliseum parking lot on Thursday, May 30.
Over 16 vendors were seen set up on its opening day. All the products have been produced straight from the farm. The Madison County Farmers Market is one of the largest mid-week markets in Kentucky.

The event will be held at the Alumni Coliseum parking lot every Thursday from 9-1 P.M. and Saturdays from 9-1 P.M. through August 8. After that date and through October 12, the venue will be changed to Irvine McDowell Park.
EKU through august 8th. august 15 Thursdays will be on Irvine McDowell park. Saturdays 9-1 will be on Lowe’s parking lot till October 12th.
