WBONtv sat down with Brandon Sears, Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Madison County Extension Education Center. He gave us valuable information about what hemp means to farmers who grow this cash crop and how they make money from it, and the struggles they have endured following legislation and changes across Kentucky.
Sears also touched on which of the many forms of hemp are the most beneficial for the economy as well as for citizens of Kentucky and the United States, as well as the struggles many local farmers have had to face with this relatively new burgeoning crop.
