Novelis Recycling from Madison County presented a check yesterday to a fortunate family who were chosen by the Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties to become a homeowner. Funds were raised by multiple agencies, including Richmond Police, Fire and EMS
Local businesses also helped funding, and reported they were all proud to be a part of the home making process.
After the check was presented, WBONTV interviewed Habitat for Humanity Fundraising Coordinator Jessica Ball, who gave us more information on the kind of work and partnerships that are needed to make a fundraiser like this possible for those in need.
