Yesterday afternoon, Wednesday November 16, Madison County Sheriff personnel responded to a call of a Richmond woman being held against her will. The incident occurred at a residence at 1044 Willis branch Road.
Deputies arrived and the female who was reported to be held against her will was coming out of the house.
Deputies ordered the female to come to them and according to officers, she stated she was not being held against her will, but rather a man named Christopher Brown had been staying at her house and would not leave.
The female also advised that Mr. Brown had access to weapons inside the house.
Christopher Brown was ordered to exit the residence by deputies and he exited with an eight month old baby girl in his arms.
Deputies were able to apprehend him and safely give the child back to his mother.
Mr. Brown was arrested for an outstanding warrant and also for felony possession of firearms.
