In the third installment of our stories from the Hines series, we spoke to William, who says he has always been gainfully employed, but he had no choice but to move into the motel with his family last fall after they fell on hard times.
William says everyone at the motel paid a different rate, and that the owner would adjust rates accordingly. He said that the option to pay week to week without a deposit down was one of the big draws that made him decide to take up residence at the motel on Big Hill Avenue. However, William states that while he was there, the place was not deserving of the bad rap it always got.
