The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people yesterday for allegedly receiving three stolen vehicles.
Officials responded to Durbin Lane in reference to a suspicious activity.
The investigation led to the seizure of three vehicles that were suspected to be stolen. The Kentucky State Police Auto Theft Unit confirmed the vehicles were stolen from Atlanta, Georgia.
54-year-old John William Lawson and 33-year-old Brandy Nicole Mullins of Richmond were arrested and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center. They were charged with six counts of obscuring the identity of a machine ($10,000 or more) and two counts of receiving stolen property ($10,000 or more)
