A state housed inmate, being held in the Madison County Detention Center, walked away from work release from the Madison County Animal Shelter this morning around 9 am. Ricky Slone has been identified as the escapee by WBON-TV and the suspect is still at large. Kentucky State Police are investigating and heading up the search.
54-year-old Slone is from Richmond, according to KSP. He is described as being 5’5″ tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and black work boots. Slone is currently wanted for Escape 2nd degree.
