A shooting in Richmond last night resulted in injuries to one man in his leg. According to police, the incident occurred just after 11 pm on Moberly avenue. The victim was hit in the leg by one shot as he was walking home from the Redi Mart.
Lt. Colonel Rodney Richardson of the Richmond police department tells WBONTV they cannot release much at this time, including suspect names, as the investigation is still underway. He also adds that the victim had surgery on his gunshot wound at UK hospital today.
The victim reports that he allegedly knows the shooter as they had been in an altercation earlier that day. At this point, no arrests have been made in the case.
