September Ends on an Extremely Hot Note

It is hot out there again today, and when you take a look at record highs, it looks like we are going to be breaking records all week! Not only does it look like we will be setting daily high temperatures records, but the record for the most days above 90 in October is currently three. At the very least, we are going to tie that record.

Highs today in the mid to upper 90’s and really, that is what we are looking at most of the week. Nights are going to be warm too! Lows will only drop into the low 70’s. Average highs for this year are in the low 70’s.

Tomorrow, October the 1st, has a record high of 89 degrees which was set in 1952. It is very likely we will break that record by 8 or 9 degrees tomorrow with a high of 97. Those working outside, make sure you are taking the necessary precautions for such warm temperatures.
