The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole repair operations. Rolling road blocks will be utilized for the work.
Wednesday, Sept. 25 – 12 a.m. (midnight) until 6 a.m.
Interstate 75 – Southbound
Pothole repair work will be in effect for the following location:
· between milepoints 80.0 and 73.0 (the Madison-Rockcastle County line)
Note: the rolling road block (a mobile operation) will begin Southbound at milepoint 86.0
The Southbound On Ramps (one ramp at a time) will be blocked for short periods (10 – 15 minutes):
· Exits 76 and 77
The traveling public should expect delays during the hours of scheduled repair operations.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
