One of Richmond’s finest upper end restaurant endeavors, that focused on an elevated dining experience, has made the decision to close its doors.
The restaurant cited ongoing challenges in the announcement Tuesday night on social media:
“Millstone Social has made the difficult decision to close its doors effective immediately.
This decision was made by management after careful consideration of the ongoing challenges facing the hospitality industry and the current, uncertain economic climate.
While this was not an easy choice, it was determined to be the most responsible course of action at this time.
We are deeply grateful to our customers for their loyal support, patronage, and friendship over the years. It has been an honor to serve the Richmond community and to be part of so many memorable gatherings and occasions.
We also extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated staff, whose hard work, professionalism, and commitment helped make Millstone Social what it was. We are proud of our team and appreciative of their contributions.
