From A Press Release for Deanna Frazier:
Local businesswoman Deanna Frazier announced today that she is running for State Representative in Kentucky’s 81st District. She will be challenging incumbent Wesley Morgan for the Republican nomination for the district, which includes parts of Madison County.
“I am running because we need a voice in Frankfort,” stated Frazier. “We need an advocate who fights for us instead of someone who fights to have their name in the daily newspaper.”
“I’m a small business owner who knows what it takes to grow the economy and create jobs. I’m a conservative Republican who will fight for solutions to Kentucky’s problems. And I’m someone who listens, puts the interests of Madison County above my own, and someone who won’t embarrass us across the Commonwealth.”
Raised in Madison County, Kentucky, Deanna Frazier graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. She went on to graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders and received her Doctorate of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. In 1997 she started Bluegrass Hearing, an audiology clinic that has grown to eleven locations around the state and provides state-of-the-art care for Kentuckians.
Frazier, who is married to Steven Frazier, is also the mother of two sons, Jacob and John. She is a conservative Republican. She wants to focus on getting government out-of-the-way so small business can create jobs, put the interests of Madison County first, and find solutions to ending the drug epidemic plaguing our community.
