A Richmond woman was taken into custody this weekend on a warrant alleging that she sexually abused a minor. 47 year old Barbara Gentry is charged with three counts of first degree sodomy, six of first degree sexual abuse, and three counts of illegal sexual activity and unlawful transaction with a minor from events in 2013.
The warrant alleges that Gentry admitted that she was involved with a minor who was 14, and was also allegedly unconscious and on prescription medication. Gentry also allegedly told police the intoxication of the minor and abuse happened on more than one occasion. She was arrested and taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
