A Richmond woman was transported to the detention center after suspected Methamphetamine was found on her. Officials say they witnessed Foster traveling southbound on W. Broadway Ave with expired registration before initiating a traffic stop. Once the vehicle was pulled over Walter Edmonson was identified as the vehicles operator while Frances Foster sat in the passenger seat. Officials detected the smell of Marijuana within the vehicle and conducted a search after consent was given from Foster, during the search officers found a little blue baggie with a crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Foster stated that the pants were originally her ex-boyfriend’s and that he brought them to her a few days ago. upon the probable cause search of the vehicle, a glass pipe was found underneath the passenger seat along with two torch lighters inside her purse. Officers also located another bag of suspected meth near Foster’s feet when she was standing next to the vehicle, Foster denied any knowledge of the substance and was transported to the Madison County Detention Center while the driver Edmonson was just issued a courtesy citation.
