A Richmond woman was recently arrested and charged with fourth degree assault (child abuse) after officers responded to a complaint at a Foxhaven Drive residence. Police report that 20 year old Cindy Davikla was talking through an interpreter to social services when they arrived at the scene. She allegedly admitted to using a belt against a 2 year old when the child would not go to sleep. She added that it was accidental, and did not try to hit the child in the head or face. A welt was visible on the child’s head. She was arrested and taken to the detention center.
