If you are looking for something to do, please come join the Richmond Rotary Club on Saturday, June 8th at the First Christian Church. The Richmond Rotary Club will host their first annual International Dinner. There will be food vendors serving dishes from around the world.
Rotary promotes “Service Above Self” and 100% of the proceeds from the International Dinner are designated to Enrich, the Richmond Rotary community grants through the Rotary International Foundation, and PolioPlus.
According to the Enrich website, their mission is “to provide employment and additional support services to people with alternative resumes beginning in Madison County, Kentucky. Enrich has established and will maintain a dialogue between families, community organizations, and governmental partners to coordinate and operationalize the most effective outreach methods and programs for the community we serve.”
Rotary International has been fighting to eradicate polio across the globe. Since 1979, Rotary and other organizations have vaccinated 2.5 billion children in 122 countries and eliminated 99.9% of polio.
Since its inception, the Richmond Rotary Club and the Rotary Foundation has supported many other organizations throughout Madison County with Rotary Community Grants.
Tickets can be purchased until June 1 by going to Eventbrite. See the link below.
To become a Table Host, you can reserve a table for $200 which will include six tickets. The Richmond Rotary Club is almost half way to their goal of $20,000. Please contact David Shew at (972) 740-2005 if you would like to sponsor a table at the International Dinner.
