The Kentucky State Police have been requested by the Nicholasville Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred today just before 1:30 p.m. in Jessamine County.
Few specifics have been released, but KSP Post 7 says (Richmond) Troopers and Detectives, and the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), responded to the scene, and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A male subject was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
