*UPDATE* Suspect surrendered himself to police today around 11:45
The Richmond Police Department responded to Mallory Court around 11:30 p.m. last night in response to a shots-fired complaint.
Officers arrived to a residence on Mallory Court where one female victim was located with injuries from a single gunshot wound. Witnesses report that Travon Hearst (29) of Richmond was visiting a female acquaintance at her residence, when the victim came to confront him. A physical altercation ensued where Hearst reportedly pushed the victim to the ground and fired a single shot, grazing the side of her head. Hearst then fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was transported to a medical facility to be treated for her injuries.
Hearst is still at large and considered *armed and dangerous.*
Description of Travis Hearst:
• Male, African American
• Approximately 5’10” in height
• Approximately 170lbs. in weight
• Brown eyes
• Last seen driving a blue Nissan Altima with a temporary Kentucky tag B891979
• *Considered armed and dangerous – do not approach.*
