Richmond Police Department recently pursued a warrant of a Richmond man that lead to a second arrest involving illegal substances.
Jim Rhoher was spotted by Richmond Police on Monday which reportedly lead to the search of the residence of Chad Chase. According to the official report, Chase informed the officer that he was unsure if Rhoher was inside. The report states that upon entering the home Rhoher was found hiding in a bedroom closet along with a purple Crown Royal bag containing a black Jennings .22 pistol wrapped in a blue bandana.
Rhoher reportedly advised that he found the weapon in the bushes between N. 3rd St. and Sizemore Dr. a few days prior. According to the report, once Rhoher was confirmed a convicted felon he was detained and transported to the Madison County Detention Center.
In a second report filed by Richmond Police, while searching the residence of Chad Chase, police also discovered what was suspected to be Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia that officials say was confirmed by Chase to belong to him for personal use. Chase was also detained and transported to the Madison County Detention Center.
