Richmond Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired in the area of the Dixie Plaza Trailer Park, just off US 25 in Richmond Friday night, November 10, 2023.
From what investigators have gathered, 2 people were apparently involved in a verbal argument, when one of those men pulled out a weapon and began firing shots. That suspect fled in a vehicle and fired more shots from the car as they fled.
At least one bullet entered one of the other residence homes at the trailer park and lodged in a door. Police found spent shell casings scattered in the area of the shooting but say, luckily, no one was injured.
Police say they have little to go on in the case as the parties involved were no longer on scene and it after 9 p.m. and was dark when the shooter left. The other person involved was also gone. No arrests have been made and they say they have little more information to go on.
