Richmond Police responded to a residence in Bradbury Pointe mobile home park Sunday to serve a warrant for failure to appear. Police arrived just after 11 a.m., and according to police, the subject slammed the door on authorities and barricaded himself in the home, refusing to come out.
Police then obtained a search warrant and made entry into the residence and arrested 41-year-old Marcus Williams without further incident.
A large police presence was on the scene, near EKU’s campus, for about four hours before the arrest was finally made, just after 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Williams original warrant was for Failure to Appear / Child Support.
