Earlier this morning, officers of the Richmond Police Department responded to a Merrick Drive residence after attempting to serve an arrest warrant.
The charges included attempted murder and intimidating a participant in a legal process. The warrant was for Joseph Farley, who is allegedly involved in an ongoing assault investigation.
Farley reportedly refused to exit the residence, prompting officers to force entry into the residence.
Police say after officers entered the residence, Farley surrendered himself to police custody.
