A server at the Richmond Kentucky O’Charley’s, who wished to remain anonymous, says they have been notified the Richmond restaurant will close after this weekend.
WBON-TV contacted the local O’Charley’s for confirmation today, but the woman who answered, who said she was the manager, was unwilling to confirm or deny the claim, and would only say “you’ll find out Monday.”
The Nashville based restaurant chain has been under pressure for the last several years and has seen many locations already shuttered. The last O’Charley’s in Lexington closed its doors in June of this year. The Richmond location was temporarily closed in February of this year by the Madison County Health Department after numerous complaints and violations.
The ‘bar and grill’ restaurant concept has been slipping away from consumer favor over the years it seems. Applebee’s in Richmond also closed in the same proximity in 2018.
WBON-TV9 expects more information from the Company headquarters regarding the closure on Monday.
