Kentucky state police arrested a Richmond man this week for allegedly trying to take over a woman’s home.
The victim told troopers she had been allowing 52-year-old Harold Edwards of Richmond to stay at her residence on Estonia Drive in Richmond, while she cared for a sick family member.
She told officers when she returned to her home, Edwards refused to let her in, telling the woman “you f—d up and this is my house now.” Edwards allegedly threatened to beat the woman as well, according to the arrest citation.
Officers placed Edwards under arrest Monday evening December 4, 2023.
He was charged with terroristic threatening. Edwards was also charged with failing to comply with the sex offender registry act.
He’s currently in the Madison County Detention Center.
