Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Richmond man on a Madison County warrant Wednesday afternoon for alleged sexual incidents that occurred last fall.
The warrant states that in the time between September 1st and Halloween of last year, 19-year-old Joe Moberly of Robbinsville Loop Road, Richmond, had sex with a 12-year-old at minimum three times when he was 18 and had knowledge that the victim was 12 at the time.
Moberly also allegedly sexually abused the victim on other occasions and had the victim perform sexual acts more than once according to police.
Moberly was taken into custody at his home and charged with two counts of second-degree attempted sodomy, three counts of second-degree rape with no force, and three counts of second-degree attempted sexual abuse.
