The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, is actively searching for an inmate who escaped from Three Forks Regional Jail just before 5:00 p.m. yesterday, May 30th. (Photos below of inmate and possibly getaway vehicle)
KSP was notified shortly before 11:00 p.m. last night, that Jeffrey Harrison, 43, of Lexington, had been inadvertently released after falsely identifying himself as his brother, who was scheduled for release. His release was not discovered until jail staff conducted roll call last night.
Jeffrey Harrison is described as a white male, 5’9″ tall, weighing 138 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Harrison was last seen wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, camo shoes, and a black hat. Harrison is believed to have left the area in an older model white Subaru.
Harrison was serving a sentence for Promoting Contraband in the first degree.
