Fourth of July is just around the corner and we’ve seen a lot of firework tents set up in Richmond.
WBONTV stopped by one of the tents on the Bypass and spoke to two of the workers, Jake Foust and Jim Wallen.
Their firework family business originated in Tennessee and has opened up 13 other locations, most of which are in Kentucky.
Foust told WBONTV that although it’s their second year of tent sitting there, the business have successfully set up a firework tent in Richmond in the last 10 years for the Independence Day event, and will continue doing so.
The duo are required to tent sit overnight as a safety precaution so no one steals the fireworks.
